Horrific News

To the infinite dismay of everything that is equitable and just, yesterday the U.S. Supreme Court refused to intervene in the case of an innocent man sentenced to die in Georgia.

That's right, Troy Davis will be executed for a crime he didn't commit as the the rusty wheels of injustice continue to chug along.
The court's one-sentence ruling paves the way for the state of Georgia to put the 39-year-old Davis to death, nearly two decades after he was found guilty of killing a police officer outside a fast-food restaurant.
Less than two weeks ago, Mr. Davis was slated to be executed but the Supreme Court stepped in only hours before Georgia carried out the venal deed. Here's a recap of the outrage from previous posts by the howler.
