"I Want Your Vote"

Although some may try to frame McCain's selection of Gov. Sarah Palin of Alaska as his running mate as a pandering move meant to entice clueless Hillary supporters too bitter after their loss to vote for a person who embodies everything they are against, there is no denying the obvious.

Contrary to Obama who gave his big middle finger to Hillary and her 18 million supporters by not even bothering to vet the person who bested him by legions for the vice presidency, McCain just took a "big ol’ bite out of The Precious’ skinny butt" by picking a woman to be his running mate.

The Confluence explains:

For months the women supporting Hillary Clinton have been told to shut up and fall in line because they had nowhere else to go. John McCain just sent them this message:

“I WANT YOUR VOTE”

This was a brilliant move by McCain. Sarah Palin is young and telegenic, and any attack on her lack of experience opens up the GOP counter-punch of attacking Uh-bama’s lack of experience. When the He-Man Woman Haters Club launches misogynistic attacks on Palin (and they have already begun) it puts the GOP in the position of supporting and defending women.

Thanks for nothing, Howard, Donna and Nancy. It could have been Hillary Clinton, instead it will be a Republican.

Check on the would-be king...but stay tuned; the howler will be regularly posting with the latest on Palin after this latest bit of unexpected news. Just one little query to Obamaland before the big show, though. Still think Hillary supporters have nowhere to go??

Comments:
You've always had somewhere to go. You can vote for McCain/Palin. You could vote Green. You could write in Hillary.

To let you in on a little secret, you're in a very small minority. We're not trying to persuade you anymore. We've moved on. You can say "18 million" all you want but 17,990,000 Hillary supporters are not going to fall for this vapid, creationist, anti-abortion pick. They will move on and pick Barrack Obama because they don't want another four years of Bush style government. We're going to focus on the independents now Continue the Donna Quioxte quest!

Well thank the dear Lord. After all the loving vitriol, I'll finally be able to get some rest.

I dunno John. You can call me names but...there's just something very special about having a woman in the cue for the White House. That's the least Obama could've done, which shows that he does not have the vision or judgment.

Yes, yes, Obama is a Dem. But damn it to hell, is that enough?? Women are rising and saying enough! We refuse to continue to sit at the back of the bus and do all the dirty work, as no doubt Dems will demand Hill and Bill campaign 24/7 for Obama after his supporters called them a bunch of racists and the party and Obama did absolutely nothing to stop them 'cause it suited their purposes.

Yes, it's special to have an inexperienced, right wing extremist to be in the "queue" for the White House. The unfortunate thing is that she'll embarass progressive women more than she'll empower them along the way.

Call you names? What? Ohhhhh...you included yourself in McCain's group of "clueless Hillary supporters." No, ma'am, I believe you are neither clueless nor a supporter of Hillary Rodham Clinton. I believe you have always wanted to see the Democratic Party lose this election and this entire blog is simply a propaganda tool for the Republican Party. Your ideas are Republican ideas. Your arguments are Republican arguments.

If you are an advocate for McCain/Palin, you are for the government dictating reproductive rights and against a woman's right to choose, you are for big oil and against the environment, you are for government mandated religion in public schools and against science...

Dear lady, the only "name" I can think to call you is a Republican.
