Obama Not Doing So Hot

For the last few days media elites have been effusive in their praise of Obama's masterful trip to the Middle East, which according to them proved once and for all that not only did Obama have the gravitas to be president of the United States, but he also had the prescience, intellect, temperament and endorsement of every leader and citizen in the whole universe. In the mind of the clueless pundits, McSame was toast. Hell, we didn't even need to wait 'till November.

Ahem ahem! It seems the folks in swing states didn't receive their memo; for some strange reason, voters are just not that into Obama.

The Washington Post headlines a recent poll that shows McSame zeroing in on The Chosen One.
Republican John McCain has quickly closed the gap between himself and Democratic rival Sen. Barack Obama in several key battleground states even as the Arizona senator struggles to break through the wall-to-wall coverage of Obama's trip to Europe and the Middle East this week.
Well, the howler is not surprised in the least. Ever since early February, Obama has underwhelmed by every measure imaginable -- and this in spite of the media going ga-ga and their 24/7 lovefest.

Remember the new electoral map that would bring the White House to Dems? Well, the new map looks an awful lot like the old losing one -- unfortunately.
McCain and Obama are in a statistical dead heat in Colorado, Michigan and Minnesota while the Illinois senator has a more comfortable double-digit edge in Wisconsin, according to polling conducted by Quinnipiac University for Washingtonpost.com and the Wall Street Journal during the past week. Only in Colorado, however, does McCain hold a greater percentage of the vote share than Obama.
That's what Dems get for stealing Hillary's vote in Michigan and giving them to Obama. Obama may lead in national polls, but it's the swing states that are going to determine who will be the next president.

Comments:
I'm beginning to this that this trip had another reason. Polls really don't matter at this point.

I also agree on why people voted Nader. Obama's a fraud.

Thanks for the heads-up link.~.~
