Sell-Outs

We knew it was coming and it's here. The biggest sell-out since oh, the bankruptcy bill for starters.

The Washington Post reports that a settlement on the wiretapping bill has been reached.
The White House and Congress today reached a deal on the most comprehensive overhaul of the nation's intelligence surveillance laws in 30 years. It would provide potential retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies that previously cooperated with the Bush administration's warrantless wiretapping program and extend government surveillance powers.
Please tell the howler how Dems are different from Republicans, especially when they behave exactly alike!?!?

When $$$ hits the pavement, $$$ talks and we get screwed. Let's see what our presumptive Democratic presidential nominee has to say on the subject. A loud silence is unacceptable.

Update: Never mind about Obama; we already have his answer via Talk Left -- a supersized bag of nothingness.
