Experience v. Wisdom

Katiebird of The Confluence has a post inviting Obama supporters to convince her that Obama has the requisite resume to be president.

Katiebird also wants to know what will Obama do "if [he] manage[s] to become President of the United States with the flimsiest resume possible (even with embellishments)". In other words, "[W]ho’s going to [his] “Dick Cheney”?

So far, lots of lookers and dilettantes but no takers.

There is one penetrating comment from a Melanie, however, that brings Obama's ridiculous argument of unparallelled wisdom to its wobbly knees.

"That wisdom nonsense is a crock," she writes. "It’s for people who want a messiah instead of a competent, experienced person at the helm. If Obama was wise he would have left Wright’s church, not let Rezco help him purchase his home, and stayed away from that Ayers nutcase."

Ouch, truth to power. Experience versus wisdom; the yang to l'ying!

Comments:
Thanks for the link and the all to sadly true observation that no one's come up with real answers to my questions.

I really wish I'd asked these questions a year ago. I took everyone's word that we had 6-8 VERY FINE all qualified candidates....

What a joke, it's starting to seem that Obama never belonged on that stage at all.

I'm sorry about coming here to rant. Delete this if you want....

Anyway, I do appreciate your post.
