Webb's Double Whammy Media Blitz
Webb is about to engage in a nationwide media blitz to sell a few books and inform the nation how more than a few Republicans have refused to support the troops.
With the recent House passage of Webb's signature GI bill, the junior senator from Virginia will be a guest on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday to talk about the bill, his new book and hopefully embarass wayward Republican senators into endorsing his bill.
Tomorrow, "Webb's collection of essays on what ails American politics goes on sale nationwide" goes on sale, The Virginian-Pilot notes.
Webb will also be visiting CBS's "Early Morning, "NPR's "Fresh Air" and CBS's "Late Show with David Letterman" on Monday and CNN's "Lou Dobbs and MSNBO's "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on Tuesday.
By the way, Sen. John McSame is one of the GOPers who does not support the troops. Go figure...
