CBS Poll
As follow up to my earlier post, the howler came across the CBS poll that once again confirms the howler's worst fear. America is overwhelmingly sexist.
Not only did 17 percent of poll participants feel no qualm in admitting their sexist bias by answering they would prefer voting for a male over a female, but a whopping 45 percent euphemistically told pollsters that even though they might vote for a woman, "most people [they knew] would…not vote for a woman candidate."
Geez, it's a wonder females ever won the right to vote at all...Feels more like 1919 than 2008. Guess we haven't come all that far, baby...
