Meet the New Guys & Gals in Congress
Congressional Quarterly has an excellent post with the profiles of all newly elected members to Congress.
Howling Latina was sorry that Jeanette Rishell was not able to overcome the gerrymandering advantage of Jackson Miller in the 50th District and win the state House seat. One telling tidbit about Election Day is that Miller was forced to spend the entire day at Dean Elementary School where she was canvassing for Webb and Rishell voters.
Mr. Miller won the election by 861 votes out 14,925 total votes.
