Jim Webb on "Meet the Press"

Sen.-elect Jim Webb of Virginia will be a guest on "Meet the Press" this Sunday. Sen.-elect Jon Tester of Montana will also be on the show; and both will talk about how they view their roles in the new Democratic Senate majority.

Later, Ted Koppel, managing editor of Discovery Channel and Robin Wright of The Washington Post and author of several books on the Middle East will switch gears and discuss policy options for the U.S. in the region.

Discovery Channel is airing with Koppel a two-hour documentary on Sunday night that "examines the U.S. relationship with Iran 27 years later: 'Iran -- The Most Dangerous Nation.'"

As many may remember, Koppel became a household name after Iranian "students" held Americans hostage at the embassy in Tehran for 444 days. Koppel kept a nightly vigil each day on ABC until they were miraculously released on January 20, 1981, only "minutes after the inauguration of the new U.S. President Ronald Reagan."

Another incredible koinkidink!
