More Polls for the Road

Just finished reading an article about today's showdown on "Meet the Press" between Sen. George Allen and his incredible challenger, former Navy secretary, war hero and best selling author, Jim Webb.

In writing about the upcoming debate, The Virginian-Pilot quotes two recent polls; they're worth mentioning again, in case anyone missed them the first time around.

[A] poll of 1,000 Virginians taken Sunday through Tuesday and released Thursday by SurveyUSA showed Allen with 48 percent support and Webb with 45 percent. The poll has a margin of error of 4.6 percentage points.

The results are similar to a survey conducted last week by Mason-Dixon Polling & Reserach Inc. that showed Allen with 46 percent support, Webb with 42 percent.

Read it and weep, you nutwings. Jim Webb is the 'absolutest' greatest candidate; he will make an excellent senator and do Virginia proud.

Howling Latina can safely predict now that Allen's presidential dreams will go down in a smoldering fire of denial and defeat.
