Worst President in the World

President George Bush has "earned" a new distinction. He has been named the worst president in the United States in over half a century.

In an independent poll by Quinnipiac University, 34 percent of voters surveyed named Dubya as the nation's worst president since 1945.

Now before GOPers get their heterosexual jocks in a wad, the very same respondents also said President Ronald Reagan was the best president -- by 28 percent -- inching former President Bill Clinton by 3 points.

Moreover, only 17 percent of respondents said President Richard Nixon, who resigned in disgrace, was the worst president.

Among young voters, 42 percent list Bush as worst. But Clinton "tops the 'worst' list among white Protestants - 24 percent, and white evangelical Christians - 29 percent."

And just what reason did respondents give for awarding Bush their blue ribbon prize?!?

The Iraq War, of course! You see, "American voters say 56 - 39 percent that going to war in Iraq was the wrong thing to do."
