Fox Cable News Ratings Plunge

It looks like Fox Cable News ratings in May plunged. This continues their over-all pattern during the last year or so.

According to Media Bistro, Fox News is "continuing to lose viewers in the valuable 25-54 demographic." Of special concern is the drop during what media insiders refer to as "sales prime," the hours between 7 pm and 2 pm when advertisement is sold at prime rates.

Fox News registered its lowest ratings since August 2001; and yes, the data applies to both Bill O'Reilly and Hannity and Colmes.

Now readers, do you notice anything about the network low numbers?!?

Yep, viewership has returned to their pre-9/11 numbers, which is one more positive sign that the nation has also returned to their pre-September 11 sanity.

No more daddy party! Just tired GOP wedge issues, which as Howard Fineman of Time Magazine said on Keith Olbermann last night, face the law of diminishing returns.
