Why the Dukester Won't Talk
In reading the latest news about convicted felon Top-Flight Dukester and how he is refusing to cooperate with Pentagon investigators, Howling Latina has two schools of thoughts on the subject.
My first thought is that former Congressman Duke Cunningham is scared out of his gore. He’s afraid of something. If he talks, bad things are likely to happen to him...
Which directly leads to my second thought, a Bush pardon.
With the huge number of GOPers in criminal trouble, the White House will surely need to hold a raffle of some sort; and in the game of chance, does the Dukester feel lucky?!?
Why risk a turn at the card table along with Scooter, Karl, John, Tom, David, Jack, Claude, Bob, Ralph, Ernie, or any other GOPer damned to the web of illegality before the end of Bush's term?
Better to remain silent and hope that your bottomed up lips buy you more than a few trump cards in the pardon game.
Update: Add the names of Republican Rep. Lewis of California, chairman of the House Appropriations Committee and Kyle "Dusty" Foggo to the list.
