Webb is the '06 Cinderella Story
Folks in the Democratic Party are getting excited about the prospects of knocking George Allen off his phony high-horse.
The Hill reports today that Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee Chairman Charles Schumer of New York is sanguine about our chances of a Virginia Senate win.
And folks, that's as close to an endorsement as it gets; because you can bet your last shiny penny that Schumer wasn't talking about Harris Miller.Giving a quick overview of those races in red states, Schumer said that he hopes to find a “Cinderella” in Virginia, a solidly Republican state that Schumer argued “under reasonable circumstances is winnable.”
Sen. George Allen (R-Va.) has been hampered by remarks he made last month that he is bored in the Senate and a recent story in The New Republic that revealed his past affinity for Confederate memorabilia.
