Whew! Here We Thought They Were Profiling...

Every person arrested in Prince William County will have their names run through a federal database to determine their citizenship status, even if they are not suspected of being in the country illegally, according to a draft of the county's revised illegal-immigration policy.

Whew! Thank the gods of where-the-hell-are-we-going-to-get-the-money...?!? It's all very clear now.

The Washington Post reports that Prince William County Chairman Corey A. Stewart is happy as a clam to squander dwindling tax resources to advance his lame-brained idea of rounding up people for driving/walking while Latino/a (or Latino/a looking).

And just to make sure that absolutely no one accuses PWC of profiling, Whitey Robber gets a run through the computer, same as Luis Probrecito who ran a red light.

All nice and fair -- as you can see -- or perhaps not.

Wow, he doesn't even pretend to believe in the Constitution. Just in my law practice I've represented some Latinos with virtually identical names who aren't even related to each other. Right now I'm embroiled in a lawsuit involving two women with exactly the same name. I'm just astounded.
