Elizabeth Not Part of the Endorsement

Many folks noticed that Elizabeth Edwards did not travel to Michigan with her husband, the former senator and Democratic vice presidential nominee and presidential candidate, John Edwards, when he endorsed The Chosen One.

Inquiring minds are wondering why Edwards endorsed Obama today when only a few days ago he told Larry King that he would not be making any endorsements soon.

Jeralyn of Talk Left thinks it's because Edwards wants to zip the meme that Obama can't "get rural, blue collar, less wealthy and less educated voters." Even if in the end Dems end up getting their butts kicked in November -- again. All for party unity, of course.

Hmmm, didn't John Kerry and John Edwards have an ad about an ostrich sticking their head in the sand in '04???

Obama frenzy in '08 feels an awful like Bush mania in '04; and the howler's just saying...

Update: Taylor Marsh has a post about another Obama gaffe that supports the howler's premise. It seems Obama lost his bearings and forgot that Afghans don't speak Arabic. Marsh painfully observes that with each passing day Obama "sounds like George W. Bush. Willing to pontificate even if he doesn't know what he's talking about."

Comments:
It makes me sad to read your posts. Hillary and Barack were very kind to each other today. I think it's time for everybody to realize that the real enemy in this race is John McCain, not Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama.

Peace and blessings to you.

The United Steel Workers, who had previously endorsed my candidate, John Edwards, have today endorsed Barack Obama.
