Daily Kos Makes the Case for Hillary - Sort've

Give credit where credit is due. Obama Central at DailyKos is benevolently offering a link that supports Hillary's claim to superdelegates; she is the candidate best positioned to run against Senator McSame in the general election.

But before we get to the juicy numbers, here's a little harmless dissembling first by Daily Yonder:

In a presidential race between Barack Obama and John McCain, rural voters prefer the Democrat's economic ideas and the Republican's values.
Yep, nice deceptive Obama linkage to Democratic ideas...as if Hillary Clinton differed from him.

Now without further ado, let's get to the heart of the matter:

Less than six months from the November election, Sen. John McCain is tied with Sen. Hillary Clinton among rural voters in battleground states while the Arizona Republican holds a nine point lead over Sen. Barack Obama.
Hillary is tied with McSame, 46-46. No big deal, though. Obama surely whips him, too. After all, Obama is bringing new energy into the race, new voters to the polls, new states to the equation, yaddy, yaddy, yah.

Oh no!!! Hold up just a second...inexplicably...it seems the same poll actually shows McCain whipping Barky by 9 points, 50-41.

The howler keeps hearkening back to the credit card bankruptcy bill that she thinks really pissed some rural voters off. Smart Dem candidates should raise the issue--even if a a boatload of their brethren voted for it.
